Happy Birthday!
When we first saw her about 11 months ago, we were not certain that this little girl was going to make it through the next week. She was born with problems and her family did not have the resources or skills to cope with the challenges and difficulties.However, she did survive that week and beyond. She is doing well (all things considered), though remains behind on her developmental milestones.
She came into the Clinic for her first birthday and one of the outreach workers brought her upstairs to the Community Health office where Michael has his desk. She is small for a one-year-old, but responsive and beloved by all the Clinic personnel.
