A truckload of fresh baked cake
There is a bakery around the corner & a block down from our house in San Pedro.
In the mornings, that area smells great!
Not just the odor of fresh baked bread, but also of all sorts of baked goods. We pass the bakery while walking to the bus stop for the route that serves downtown and coastline where the Clinic is located.
The delivery truck sitting in front of the bakery is loaded with cakes; they are sort of like a combination sponge-bundt-pound cake with a sweet citrus fruit icing. This is a 'wholesale' bakery. There is no retail store attached to it. Everything is sent out daily.
I have heard about experiments to send fragrance over the internet. Until that technology is perfected, you will just have trust us that this whole section of the street smells delicious.
(Not quite sure why there is tire in the road behind the truck this morning ...)
