A Gift Motorcycle from the US Government
Jaime is the Clinic's messenger. He has a blue motorcycle. He makes deliveries, runs errands, and sometimes takes us around for home visits if a car is not available.
The motorcycle was a gift from "the People of the United States." A local organization was not fulfilling their contract with the US Agency for International Development (
USAID).
As a consequence, that organization's program was shut-down and their stuff re-distributed. We got this motorcycle and a water cooler (they just appeared one day on a truck with a note). The Clinic has always fulfilled its contracts with USAID.
What we especially like is the Episcopal Shield plastered on top of the headlight.
