Hanging out
It was a grey, rainy day. We had just dropped-off his mother at the Iglesia de Díos Pentecostal next door. As we started to drive away, we saw (Michael, #87) and some church friends sitting out of the rain under the trap door that covers the open counter behind them when this small store closes. They were huddled in there, dry and happy. His mother is the Pastor's wife at the church, which makes Michael a PK (Preacher's Kid), though he does not manifest the mischievous behavior that is often implied by that label (well, not too often anyway).
